The MAS-36 is a compact, carbine-style bolt-action rifle, first adopted by France in 1936 to replace the older Berthier and Lebel service rifles. With its rugged design, featuring a two-piece stock and slab-sided receiver, the MAS-36 offers a balance of simplicity and reliability.  This weapon is a short carbine design for easy handling firing the 7.5×54mm French cartridge, has seen its share of action so expect some wear and tear due to age.  A great addition for collectors or shooters, the MAS-36 is a reliable piece of history with a battle-proven reputation.
