While I wasn’t exposed to firearms much as a young adult, I certainly was thrust headfirst into that arena when I joined the US Marine Corps in 1984. In addition to the standard M-16A1 and A2 along with the .45 Colt and 9mm Beretta we qualified with each year, as a CH-53 Crew Chief I also frequently shot the GAU-21 .50 Caliber Machinegun and GAU-17 7.62 Mini-Gun.
Throughout my military and civilian careers, weapons and weapons systems have been ingrained as part of my DNA. I learned late in life my wife and my son both share a passion for shooting sports and firearms in general which eventually led to opening our own firearm business, FANG.
We treasure our friendships, and this business gives us another opportunity to meet new people, develop new friendships, and share our devotion to safe and responsible firearm ownership. The 2nd Amendment is our rights as free Americans, seek out the joy and safety responsible firearm ownership can bring to you and your family’s lives…that freedom was paid for by the sacrifices of many of my previous and current military brothers and sisters, don’t let their sacrifice go to waste!

I’m a proud Southern girl and a God-fearing American who has grown to appreciate the art of firearms and shooting. In my spare time, I love traveling, reading, and spending quality moments with my husband, family, and friends, enjoying our shared passion for shooting. My Licensed to Carry (LTC) class gave me the education and confidence to carry a firearm for personal safety. This appreciation for firearms has led us to be deeply involved in our gun shop, where we share our knowledge and enthusiasm with others.
I also have a strong interest in Recreational Hearing Conservation. Tony and I received specialized training at E.A.R. Inc., enabling us to create on-the-spot Custom Insta-Mold Earplugs, as well as Ear Impressions for advanced Custom Earplugs.
KYLE SMITH
Technical Project Manager
Kyle leads an engineering team in the American manufacturing field, focusing on mechanical design, robotics, and controls. Committed to teamwork, accountability, and developing future leaders, he works to improve both efficiency and job quality for everyone on the factory floor. Outside of work, Kyle enjoys reading and writing on leadership, history, and philosophy, exploring ideas that inspire both his professional and personal life.
